California Supporting Inclusive Practices Program

The Supporting Inclusive Practices (SIP) Project, overseen by the California Department of Education, is a 10-year initiative aimed at reforming special education within California's school districts. The project's main goal is to create the most inclusive environments possible for all students. Fenix Research and Evaluation’s role as an external advisor involves advancing inclusionary practices, creating least restrictive environments, and assessing whether the project's change efforts have achieved their intended goals.
